Welcome to a new blog post where we'll dive into a Spa Track Guide in ACC.
Today, we continue our Circuit Guides for the 25 tracks available on Assetto Corsa Competizione.
These are hot-lap analyses onboard selected cars, designed to help you get to know a specific circuit better: braking points, apexes, reference markers, where and how much to accelerate...
This way, you'll have a clearer idea of how to tackle a track on ACC, no matter which car you're driving.
For this new episode of our series, we head to the "University of Motorsport," Spa-Francorchamps, driving the BMW M4 GT3.
Since we've already described the car in previous Guides, let's jump straight into why we chose this car-track combination.

Last weekend saw the 24 Hours of Spa, celebrating its 100th anniversary with a win by the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT3 EVO (not yet available in ACC) of the 007 Comtoyou Racing team, including the Italian Mattia Drudi.
The BMW M4 GT3 has always performed well in the Ardennes, winning the 2023 edition with ROWE Racing.
Over the past 100 years, the track has undergone numerous changes and, in recent history, has become the host of the most important race in the GT world.
In the past, the 24h of Spa was an unmissable endurance event, but in the last 20-30 years, it has taken on a crucial role in global GT competitions.
Part of the Intercontinental GT Challenge and GTWC EU, it's comparable to legendary races like the 24h of Le Mans, Daytona, and Nurburgring.
It has a unique charm and is one of the most important races of the year.

After warming up with this information, let's get started with the Spa Track Guide in ACC.

Turn 1: La Source
It's important to brake firmly around the 100-meter mark.
In the last 15-20 meters, cut the apex without getting too close to the wall, otherwise the car won't respond well to acceleration.

Turn 3-4-5: Eau Rouge-Raidillon
To tackle Eau Rouge flat out, brush the outer white wall, then dive inside without finishing the curb.
It's crucial to cut the last apex to maximize the line, as the limit is the outer white line.

Turn 7-8-9: Les Combes
At Les Combes, brake just after the 100-meter mark.

Use the outer curb as a guide and exploit the inner curbs as rails.

Sacrifice the penultimate corner to enter strongly into the last right-hand corner.

Turn 10: Bruxelles
Brake at the start of the curb, bringing a lot of trail braking.
It's important to be patient with the throttle to avoid exiting too hard, as the next corner is crucial.

Turn 11: No Name
Full third gear, a slight tap on the brake, and then full throttle until Pouhon.

Turn 12: Pouhon
Take it in fourth gear.
Go wide over the curb, use as much track as possible, then immediately get back on the gas.

Turn 13-14: Campus
Third gear.
Brake hard and keep the pedal down for a long time.

Quickly switch from right to left.
Get on the accelerator right away to push the car to the outside.

Turn 15: Stavelot
Brake at the start of the curb, avoiding the inner curb as it's too high.
Use the outer space.
Then, go flat out towards Blanchimont, which is taken flat out in sixth gear.

Turn 19-20: Bus Stop
Brake after the 150-meter mark, using the entire rubbered-in area.
Cut the first curb and wait for the right moment to enter the second.

Once inside, accelerate decisively to complete the lap of Spa.
